Who Is Venegas?

Venegas is a Charlotte, North Carolina native who dreams of sharing her talents with the world through song! In her adolescence she attended Northwest School of the Arts where she began honing her craft at an early age.

With her songbird mother as her early influence, she has never been afraid to try a new avenue of the music and entertainment industry. Venegas became Radio Disney’s Kid Star from 2000 to 2001, performed at select Radio Disney events, and has spread her theatrical wings through a plethora of theater work. She’s been the booked entertainment for pageants, sporting events, and has never shied from a talent competition!

In her earlier years, she was a finalist on It’s Showtime at the Apollo Kids Talent Search, and a contestant at A Gospel Talent Search sponsored by Charlotte Sting player Dawn Staley for the Dawn Staley Foundation. Venegas auditioned for American Idol (2012) and Sunday’s Best (2012 & 2014), where she advanced through two rounds. While she didn’t advance to the shows, it landed her a spot as a dedicated background singer for Jessica Reedy, LeJuene Thompson, Anita Wilson and more!
